# PlaceFull text messages

## What we send

PlaceFull (Placefull Acquisition, Inc.) sends booking text messages to customers who book on PlaceFull: the confirmation, a reminder on the day, any change or cancellation, and word that the studio left a note on the booking. Notifications only, never marketing. Receipts and payment messages go by email, not text.

A studio's instructors can get a text when someone books, moves or cancels a time they teach, only once they have turned texts on for their own number the same way a customer does.

## PlaceFull is the sender

Every text is written from PlaceFull's fixed templates, opens with "PlaceFull:", and is sent from PlaceFull's own number; studios cannot write, edit or send a text of their own.

The only words of a studio's that a text carries are names (the studio's, what was booked, where) and, when a studio cancels a date, its one-line note. PlaceFull takes every link out of them first. Meeting links, instructions and directions are never texted; they are on the booking page the text links to.

PlaceFull collects and manages every opt-in and opt-out itself: the opt-in on its own checkout and account pages, the opt-out by replying STOP to any text or unticking the box on the account page.

A studio only chooses whether its customers are offered texts, and cannot add a number to the program (a number typed by staff, imported, or supplied by a digital wallet is never texted).

## How customers opt in

On PlaceFull's checkout, an optional box, "Text me reminders", sits just above Book and starts unchecked. The customer ticks it to get texts. Checkout completes either way. While it is checked, a Mobile field is shown under the box. The disclosure shows two lines until More. A customer can also turn texts on or off any time from their account page. Consent is recorded only for the exact number a customer typed with the box ticked, never a number typed by staff, imported, or handed over by a digital wallet.

When you tick the box at checkout or turn on texts in your account, PlaceFull sends text messages about your booking with the studio you booked with — your confirmation, a reminder on the day, and any change or cancellation. We send no marketing texts. Message frequency varies with your bookings. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help; you can also reach us at hello@placefull.ai. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Texting is never required to book — see our [Privacy Policy](/privacy) for how we handle your number.
